Transforming Omaha’s RiverFront

Heartland of America Ryan Fischer Hi Res 13

In August of 2020, while the world was still making its way through the pandemic, Miller Electric, Kiewit and MRG began work on what would become the most groundbreaking, state-of-the-art outdoor lighting installation in a public park anywhere in America.

Situated in the heart of downtown Omaha, the project involved underground modeling, installation of 0-10V dimming and DMX color-changing-lights that can coordinate with sound and video, and prefabrication work. Visitors will enjoy connecting, relaxing, playing and contemplating around these incredible outdoor spaces.

In the end, all you have is your name.

Miller Electric worked with MRG, Kiewit and the Metropolitan Entertainment Convention Authority (MECA) to bring the vision of some of the world’s foremost lighting and outdoor architecture designers to life, right here in downtown Omaha.
