Omaha is gaining recognition as a hub for extraordinary performance venues, and Miller Electric is at the forefront of powering these spaces.
Constructing Omaha Performing Arts’ third venue, Steelhouse Omaha, brought together the talents of Ennead Architects (New York), Holland Basham Architects, Fisher Dachs (New York) theater consultants, Theater Acoustics (Chicago), Kiewit Building Group, Miller Electric and more talented subcontractors. Miller Electric provided electrical, power, lighting and low voltage work on the venue.
During a walkthrough near the project’s completion, one partner noted that the performance house catwalk conduit, which Miller Electric’s BIM and Prefab teams collaborated on, was the best he’d seen.

From the start, Miller Electric collaborated with consultants, other subcontractors, Kiewit staff and Omaha Performing Arts to thoroughly understand their requirements. Field leadership then worked efficiently to implement a coordinated plan to execute those requirements ahead of the project’s scheduled completion deadline, ensuring every detail came together exactly as planned.
