Global payments processing leader ACI Worldwide needed to expand its data center without shutting it down.
Any outages or interruption to the data center could have costly consequences. Miller Electric devised a phased and coordinated approach for installing a new UPS distribution system to ACI’s data center without interruption of power to equipment already in service.
Problem solved before it becomes one.
Miller Electric relied on its expertise in BIM and CAD services to coordinate the installation with existing mechanical and structural components. Three dimensional design and pre-fabrication of conduit runs off site in Miller’s prefab shop as well as complete installation and testing prior to tie-in enabled the installation to go off without a hitch.
