Warehouse Assistant

Overview:

Assist service team with daily orders, receive shipments as they arrive, keep inventory of all materials, equipment, and tools required to perform each service. This position will work directly with the warehouse manager and all members of the service team. This position starts the day at 6:30 am and ends at 4:00 pm.

Duties:

-Receive, stock, and organize incoming shipments

-Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products

-Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently

-Assist with inventory management and cycle counting

-Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

-Load and unload trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed

Requirements:

-Knowledge of electrical components and related equipment

-Understanding of inventory systems with 2 plus years of experience

-Strong time management, communication, and computer skills

-Ability to work with a diverse group of employees

-High school education with post-secondary is a plus

-2 plus years of inventory systems is preferred

-Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse machinery and equipment

-Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the day

-Strong attention to detail for quality control checks

-Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

-Self starter who takes initiative
